This 100% Trousseau is a light bodied red wine showing a real elegance and complexity. Aromas of cherries on the nose, with a touch of spice and earthy characters. The palate is light, balanced, with still a great purity of aged fruits and spice with a light structure of tannin.
This elegant Trousseau is a great introduction to a wine from that region as it's similar to a red Burgundy Pinot Noir. The wine is aged in big oak barrels which makes this wine complex retaining an amazing acidity and freshness. So if you like Pinot Noir, this is definitely worth trying. One of our favorites.
