Hailing from Central Otago, New Zealand, this Sauvignon Blanc benefits from the region's long sunshine hours and cool nights, resulting in a wine with beautifully balanced acidity and intense fruit flavours.
You'll find classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc characteristics here – passionfruit, elderflower, and citrus – but with an added layer of complexity thanks to the unique terroir.
Intensely aromatic with ripe passionfruit and more subtle delicate flavours of lemongrass, fennel and elderflower. The wine shows great concentration and drive, with a textural mid palate framed by succulent juicy bright acidity. The majority of fruit was cool fermented in stainless steel, with a small component of barrel fermented wine blended in for texture.
